Monograph Promotion by Vladimir Veličković in the Svilara Cultural Station Tonight at 7 P.M.

The long-awaited monograph ‘Vladimir Veličković – Peinture / Paintings / 1996 – 2019’ published by Vina Productions from France, will be promoted within the visual arts week in the Svilara Cultural Station tonight at 7 p.m.

Publisher Nebojša Bošnjak and Lidia Haramburg, the author of the text and member of the French Academy of Arts will have a conversation with the fans of artwork by one of the most eminent Serbian painters. The presentation of the monograph is followed by the exhibition of works by Vladimir Veličković within which the audience will have a chance to see two paintings of oil on canvas, two drawings and seven graphics – including a diptych and a triptych.

Vladimir Veličković’s son Vuk Veličković conceived the concept of the monograph, which was designed by the Futro Design Studio.

You can visit the exhibition in the Svilara Cultural Station until 11 October, every day, including weekends, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Purchasing the monograph will be possible in Svilara during the exhibition.

During the visual arts week, in addition to monograph promotion by Vladimir Veličković, the audience will have a chance to see the premiere of the film produced within the ‘Kizuna’ project by Marko Kaćanski and a performance by the band ‘Bruke’ in the Egység Cultural Station on 28 September at 8 p.m., as well as the promotion of the book ‘Days of the Full Moon’ by Vitomirka Trebovac at 4 p.m. Workshops ‘Contemporary Challenges and Traditional Knowledge on Conservation and Restauration’ by Milica Sekulić will be held in Egység on Wednesday, 29 September at 10 a.m.

Due to poor weather conditions, the audience will have a chance to see ‘Museum of Future’, an art project by Željko Grulović in New Place (Rumenačka Street no. 25-29), at weekend, on 2 and 3 October, from 4 until 8 p.m., while ‘Dust’, a film by Filip Markovinović will be shown in Novo Naselje in New Place, near the Primary School ‘Prva Vojvođanska Brigada’, on 2 October at 8 p.m.

We remind that audience will have a chance to see the exhibition ‘Lasting Values – Art Collection of the DDOR’ that will remain open at the weekend and will last until 16 October in the Gallery of Matica Srpska. The audience will have a chance to see the ‘Homogeneous in Inhomogeneous’ exhibition by Darija Dragojlović, in Creative District in Fabrika, on 30 September.

During five weeks, this yearlong project of the culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art, in order to present places and programmes by promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad until 8 October.
