The sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture, the best European Trend Brand in the field of culture and a legacy project that continues to live even after the European Capital of Culture title year, was held from 7 September to 15 October 2023 in Novi Sad. During five weeks and through five types of art, more than 1,000 artists celebrated 40 days of culture of togetherness by responding to the artistic concept of ‘Unbreakable Ties’.

Kaleidoscope of Culture in 2023 began with a four-day opening, which was marked by Korzo, a traditional concert of classical music on Mihajla Pupina Boulevard, on 7 September. The Novi Sad audience enjoyed the performance of Guinness record holder Peter Bence, who under a clear sky once again confirmed that he is the fastest pianist in the world. After the opening ceremony and the Korzo, due to which, for the sake of culture, one of the main roads in Novi Sad was closed, three more days of opening followed in the form of a magnificent multimedia event in the District. The opening is a kaleidoscope itself, a prelude to five weeks of art (performing, applied, visual arts, architecture and literature) that promote a culture of togetherness. The artistic concept of the sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture was ‘Unbreakable Ties’ and encompassed the creativity of the last 100 years. In this regard, the first permanent multimedia exhibition Spirit of Place – A Century of the District was opened in the District, and the public had the opportunity to see the unusual installation Heart, as well as an exhibition of the works of the greats of Serbian art, among them – Petar Lubarda, Milena Pavlović Barili, Sava Šumanović, Milan Konjević, Olja Ivanjicki, Vladimir Veličković, Marina Abramović and others.
