Strategic and Participatory Design for Cultural Organisations: ReCulture Project

The panel discussion ‘Strategic and participatory design for cultural organisations: ReCulture project’ will be implemented in the SPENS amphitheatre on the first day of the week of applied arts, 1 October, at 6 p.m.

Participants are Wolfgang Fiel, architect and founder of the iCP Institute in Vienna, Guillaume Buresté, representative of the MUCEM Museum in Marseille, and Slavimir Stojanović Futro, graphic designer and lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Nina Mihaljinac and Milan Đorđević from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

The audience will have a chance to hear the experiences of panellists when it comes to their work on branding cultural institutions, strategic and participatory design practices in the Western Balkans and Europe, the challenges that designers in our region face in working with institutions and processes that designers and representatives of institutions go through when working on creating new or renewed visual identities.

The fourth ‘Kaleidoscope of Culture’ will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021. During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
