Slobodan Tišma and the ‘Novi Sad in Contemporary Literature’ discussion on Radio Belgrade 2

The meeting of several generations of writers from Novi Sad within the ‘Novi Sad in Contemporary Literature’ project, will happen in the Svilara Cultural Station on 25 September. Due to the epidemiological measures, the audience will have a chance to listen to this programme on Radio Belgrade 2 as well.

The broadcast will start at 7 p.m., as will the programme presenting prominent authors such as Slobodan Tišma, Milan Tripković, Marijana Čanak, Andrea Popov Miletić, Franja Petrinović and Laslo Blašković.

They will read excerpts from their works and discuss similarities and differences of experiencing the city in those works. Book lovers, if unable to come to Svilara, will have a chance to follow the discussions not only on Radio Belgrade 2, but on the Svilara Cultural Station Facebook page as well.

The conversation with the authors will be held at the plateau in front of the Svilara Cultural Station, or, in case of bad weather, inside of Svilara.

The maximum number of people allowed inside of the cultural station is 30, therefore the organisers kindly ask all visitors to adhere to all measures in order to maintain health and enjoy cultural events. Visitors are obliged to wear face masks during all events.
