On the theatre stage in Creative District, visitors of this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture will have an opportunity to see diverse plays during the opening ceremony from 2 until 5 September.
Zijah Sokolović will perform two monodramas: ‘Međuigre 0-24’ and ‘Lijevo desno glumac’ within the INFANT festival on 5 September.
During the competition part of the international festival of alternative and new theatre, the Slovene National Theatre Maribor will present themselves with the ‘Post Office’ play on 2 September, the Studio Contemporary Dance Company will perform the ‘Spectale’ dance performance on 3 September, while on 4 September, we will have a chance to see ‘The Goalkeeper’s Fear of the Penalty’ play by the Serbian National Theatre.
Visitors will have a chance to see the ‘Grand Hotel’ play by Madlenianum, the famous Belgrade theatre, on the last day of the opening ceremony of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, while the actress Mariana Aranđelović will do the stand-up comedy on 3 and 4 September.

The entrance to all progammes of the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture is free of charge, and without COVID-19 protocol, while organisers kindly ask all visitors to adhere to all measures in order to maintain health and enjoy cultural events. Visitors are obliged to wear masks during all events.
