Freelance artists, whose ateliers are at the site of the former Great Liman, will open their doors to all the visitors within the artistic concept ‘Liman 5’, which will open this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture on 4 September.
‘Open Atelier’ exhibition will present the works of Tadija Janičić and Petar Mirković, artists of different styles and approaches to contemporary artistic tendencies. Boris Lukić, painter in residence, will join both the exhibition of Tadija and Petar’s works, and the ambient and atmosphere in which those works were created.
The audience will have a chance to see works of the artists that vary from fast, colorful vibrant caricatures by Tadija Janičić, through dark and grey urban shots by Petar Mirković, to hyperrealism by Boris Lukić.
Their atelier gives a touch of history of the Great Liman, it’s enhanced by the various elements from the very district, other artists’ gifts, as well as insight into their private and intimate wishes, ideas, hobbies and processes of artistic creation.
‘Open Atelier’ exhibition will be opened on 4 September at 9 p.m., while on other days during the grand opening the audience will be able to see it from noon until 11 p.m.
