These three big names in the world of literature will join forces at one literary evening when, as part of this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture, literary conversations will take place. Thus, the residents of Novi Sad will have the opportunity to listen to conversations with some of the most widely read regional writers in the Novi Sad District on Saturday, 14 October, at 7 p.m.

Programmes for Children and Parents at the Mlin Cultural Station

The last week of this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture, dedicated to literature, will be opened by a lecture intended for parents of children aged six months to seven years. With the practical advice of a pedagogue, you will learn how important reading is for a child’s development, how to choose a book, and how to offer a book to a child. You will discover how to play with a book, and on the other hand teach your child that book is not a toy.

Pedagogue Olgica Pušić Ugrnov will hold a lecture for parents How To Grow Up from a Book and with a Book at the Mlin Cultural Station on 10 October at 6 p.m., as part of the Literature Week at this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture.

On the same evening, the most famous Serbian author of books for children and young people, whose works have been translated into almost 30 languages, as well as adapted for plays and films (‘The Summer I Learned to Fly’ film), will mingle with the youngest audience at the Mlin Cultural Station. During the Literature Week of the sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture in Novi Sad, a conversation with the writer Jasminka Petrović will be held at the Mlin Cultural Station on Tuesday, 10 October, at 7 p.m.

Admission to all programmes of the Kaleidoscope of Culture is free of charge. Partner of the Kaleidoscope of Culture is Erste Bank.
