Traditional Korzo, one of the key events of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, which subordinated one of the central boulevards in Novi Sad to art and culture, brings online concert straight to our homes, adapting to the pandemic situation.
On Saturday, 12 September, from 8:22 p.m. (20:22), Korzo will give audience across the world a concert of one of the best world pianist duos – LP Duo on the official website of the Kaleidoscope of Culture and YouTube page of Novi Sad 2021, by setting new frameworks of decentralisation of culture, and moving from the former Novi Sad promenade to the online world, thus creating a new audience.
The elegance of classical music, freedom of jazz and power of rock’n’roll describe the music by Sonja Lončar and Andrija Pavlović, who will perform on the plateau of the Petrovaradin Fortress, next to the famous clock, especially for the Kaleidoscope of Culture.
They performed a unique combination of avant-garde, electronic, film, theatre and pop music with a panoramic view of Novi Sad behind them. Sonja and Andrija are active on the music scene for 16 years, as well as in the field of theatre and visual art. Talented musicians already have numerous compositions for theatre plays of the ‘Atelje 212’, National Theatre, Yugoslav Drama Theatre, BITEF theatre and others. They also wrote compositions for popular local TV shows such as ‘Jutro Će Promeniti Sve’, ‘Dug Moru’ and ‘Žigosani u Reketu’, and they were declared one of the best piano duos in the biggest world competition in Miami.
