The ‘A Comic Strip Tour of Belgium’ exhibition will be implemented within the fourth opening of this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture, from 2 until 5 September in Creative District.
Belgium gathers a great number of editors, illustrators and scriptwriters. From the slopes of the Ardennes to multicultural and dynamic capital, the exhibition reveals Belgium through the ‘9th art’, which the city is known for all over the world.
Stories by several generations of authors bring the important historic events, famous cities and monuments, landscapes, and cultural tradition closer to the audience. Thirty selected reproductions of comic panels will illustrate the diversity of comic albums and the authors, genres, styles, and the richness of the region.
The fourth Kaleidoscope of Culture will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021. During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
