While waiting for 2022, when Novi Sad will proudly take the title of capital of culture, this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture will be held from 2 September to 8 October 2021.
During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
As one of the largest programme arches within the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project, the Kaleidoscope of Culture intertwines five types of art through numerous cultural and artistic events.
Novi Sad becomes a city-scene in which everyone is given the opportunity to create their own kaleidoscope of culture regarding architecture, literature, performing, visual and applied arts, during all five weeks of the programme. In addition, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will repurpose the famous Novi Sad spaces with a new look, open new places for culture, and enrich the programme of the network of cultural stations.
Artists and other cultural stakeholders, different spaces and numerous programmes form a unique picture of the diversity of the Kaleidoscope of Culture and give a new image to culture in Novi Sad.
