Yelena aka Lady Jelena will perform in the Chill zone in Creative District on 4 September at 10 p.m. (the square in front of the Liman Cultural Station / location no. 4), within the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture.
Jelena Petošević entered the world of music quite by accident, and she decided to stay there. She realised that she could make people feel happy, sad, thrilled and angry with words, voice and music. Texts abound in sexual allusions present the striking contrast to her voice and jazz-pop rhythms, thus referring to love in an explicit manner, through a parody on romance and male-female relationships.
The fourth Kaleidoscope of Culture’ will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021. During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
