‘Obnova’ Film Festival will be held for the second time in Novi Sad within the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, from 2 to 5 September in the Creative District in the area of the former Great Liman.
The aim of the festival is the renewal of Novi Sad film production and the promotion of Novi Sad on the European film scene, as well as the implementation of a self-sustaining film festival that will actively contribute to local cinematography, especially to Novi Sad directors and producers.
Fans of cinema will be able to watch iconic films such as ‘The Marathon Family’, ‘The Beauty of Vice’, ‘The Elusive Summer of ’68’ and ‘Kreka: Dreamcatcher’ on three stages (Obnova, Kolosek and Pogon). The film programme will be updated with new titles soon.
The fourth Kaleidoscope of Culture will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021. During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
