Constantin Demner

Constantin Demner, the Austrian graphic designer and founder of the visual communications studio Studio Elastik, will hold a lecture ‘This talk is about you’ within the week of applied arts and Design Pavilion in the SPENS amphitheatre on 1 October. The lecture begins at 7 p.m.

The vision of the Studio Elastik, founded by Constantin Demner in 2001, has always been to work internationally without being bound to any specific space – long before dislocated work became a thing.

While travelling a lot and specializing in remote and nomadic work, the current home base is in the most eastern city of the western world and the most western city of the eastern world, Vienna. Constantin has been working on every imaginable kind of creative project for the past 20 years. Besides running the studio, Constantin lectures at the Digital Arts Department at the Institute of Fine Arts and Media at the University of Applied Arts Vienna – die Angewandte.

The fourth ‘Kaleidoscope of Culture’ will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021. During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
