We will have a chance to see the concert of the Novi Sad band Killo Killo Banda during the second day of the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture in Creative District in Great Liman on 3 September.
Killo Killo Banda will present their recently released fourth album entitled ‘Pobeda je biti čovek’. Despite they were recording album in difficult circumstances during 2020, the band was proud of the result of a challenging and unusual creative process. The album has 11 new tracks, including a remix.
The Banda remained true to themselves and to original, genuine energy they have been radiating for many years. The tacks represent diverse genres, therefore, we can hear reggae, the most present genre in the previous albums, as well as afro-funk, rock-steady, dub, and hip-hop.
The fourth Kaleidoscope of Culture will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021. During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
