Within the visual arts week of Kaleidoscope of Culture, the exhibition ‘Homogeneous in Inhomogeneous’ by artist Darija Dragoljević will open from 26 to 30 September in the renovated space of Farbika – Creative District.
The exhibition is part of the artist’s master thesis and includes drawings and installations thematizing her own questioning of principles by which universal forms, that appear in different domains in people’s lives, are created.
Darija Dragojlović, born in Kraljevo in 1996, is currently enrolled in a master programme at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, the Department of Fine Arts, under professor Vidoje Tucović. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology and Arts as an applied artist, in the Department of Wall Painting, under professor Goran Rakić.
She has implemented several solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous joint ones. She creates within the field of drawing, painting and installation. Darija Dragojlović became one of the editors of the fine arts programme of the gallery of the Shock Cooperative.
The fourth ‘Kaleidoscope of Culture’ will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021. During five weeks, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various processes, will present five types of art. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present spaces and programmes throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad.
