Due to the great interest of the audience, an additional lecture by Alejandro Aravena, the famous architect and winner of the Pritzker Prize, Nobel’s counterpart in architecture, will be held on October 5 in the District starting at 7 p.m. The lecture is held as part of the Kaleidoscope of Culture architecture week, and admission to this event is free.
Alejandro Aravena graduated from the Catholic University of Chile in 1992, and until 2005 he was a professor at Harvard. He was appointed an Honorary International Fellow of the Royal Institute of Architecture. His works were awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale as well as the Gothenburg Sustainability Award. He received the Pritzker Prize in 2016 and was the curator of the 15th Venice Biennale. Since 2020, he is the president of the jury for the Pritzker Prize.
