The multimedia event ‘Unbreakable Bonds’ will take place in the District on 8, 9 and 10 September, starting at 8.30 p.m., as part of the four-day opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, which will follow the gala opening ceremony at Korzo on 7 September.
In a combination of different types of art, through a stunt and dance performance, theatre play, three exhibitions, six projections, a mural, a sculpture, video games and art installations – more than 300 artists will present their vision of unbreakable ties to us at the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture!
Covering a period of 100 years, the multimedia event refers to the most turbulent century in history, and it was the District that witnessed all these events. From the twenties of the last century until today, the former industrial zone of Novi Sad has gone through numerous changes under the influence of socio-political events, so that today it has become a centre of contemporary creativity and presents a unique infrastructural and artistic concept. Therefore, the opening of the sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture brings a series of events that will present, through an artistic vision, some of the most significant events in the world and in our country, which marked the century behind us, and thus bring closer to the audience the importance of the District in the historical, social and artistic development of the city.
The multimedia event ‘Unbreakable Bonds’ will be accompanied by a rich music programme, which will take place in the District on 8, 9 and 10 September.
