For the first time in Serbia, a Grammy winner, a violin virtuoso, the most famous Japanese children’s choir and others are coming to the sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture, in the network of cultural stations and the District.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a four-day opening on the Korzo and in the District, which caused great enthusiasm for the audience through unusual events, Novi Sad’s Kaleidoscope of Culture enters its first, five-week period, dedicated to performing arts, from September 11 to 17.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, September 16, from 8:30 p.m., the world-famous jazz artist, Jason Miles, will perform in the renovated District. Jason Miles is one of the most famous jazz musicians and a winner of the prestigious Grammy Award. During his career he collaborated with many famous musicians such as Miles Davis, Marcus Miller, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and many others.<\/p>\n

Performing arts week in the Network of Cultural Stations<\/p>\n

In the first week of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, dedicated to performing arts, world-famous violin virtuoso Stefan Milenkovi\u0107 will perform on September 12 from 8 p.m. together with the Camerata Novi Sad ensemble in the new, tenth, Cultural Station in Stepanovi\u0107evo (Vojvode Stepa Stepanovi\u0107o 111), which will to be opened with this concert.<\/p>\n

The most prominent violinist of his generation, Stefan Milenkovi\u0107, started his career in early childhood, and he performed with world-renowned orchestras and won prizes at numerous and prestigious violin competitions. This time, his performance will mark the beginning of the performing arts week at the Kaleidoscope of Culture. Camerata Novi Sad is one of the most exciting ensembles in our region, an orchestra of top artists who, with their dedication to music, mutual friendship and discipline, create a unique shared energy and sound.<\/p>\n

During the performing arts week of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, at the renewed District on September 15 at 7 p.m., the Senda Pan flute choir, the children’s choir from Hiroshima, conducted by Hiromitsu \u0160imamoto, and the Baji\u0107evi slavuji from Novi Sad, founded and led by Ana Kova\u010di\u0107, will perform.<\/p>\n

Until October 15, as long as this year’s Kaleidoscope of Culture lasts, more than 1000 domestic, regional, European and international artists will celebrate the culture of community and for five weeks, show the best of five types of art – performing, visual, applied, architecture and literature , in the District and the network of cultural stations. After the week dedicated to the performing arts, there follows the week dedicated to the applied arts.<\/p>\n
