Swedish duo Carbon Based Lifeforms (CBL)<\/strong>, famous on the international psytrance scene, is coming to perform in Liman Park, on 3 September at 10 p.m.<\/strong>, as part of the opening<\/strong> <\/a>of the Kaleidoscope of Culture.<\/p>\n

Along with the ambient electronic music of the CLB<\/strong> project, on 3 September, well-known local DJs Brka<\/strong> and Tapan<\/strong> will perform, and tickets will be charged RSD 500 at the entrance.<\/p>\n

Carbon Based Lifeforms<\/a><\/strong> (CBL) is made up of Johannes Hedberg<\/strong> and Daniel Vadestrid<\/strong>, both born in 1976, they have been friends and collaborators for more than 25 years. They set a goal for themselves to bring earth and space together in their music. Using the combination of nature and technology as the main inspiration for their work, their similarity and opposition, including the negative impacts that faulty technology can have on the environment. Johannes often creates by building blocks of sounds and harmonies, while Daniel develops rhythms and shapes ideas into tracks.<\/p>\n

CBL was formed in 1996, blooming from other projects, but it soon became their focal point. It culminated in the first edition \u2018mp3.com\u2019 in 1998, and in 2002, the duo signed a contract with the famous Ultimae label from Lyon, with which they released four full-length albums: Hydroponic Garden in 2003, World of Sleepers in 2006, Interloper in 2009, and Twentythree in 2012. In 2014 they left Ultimae and went independent, releasing Derelicts in 2018, and Stochastic in 2021.<\/p>\n

CBL can often be found among headliners of the biggest psytrance festivals around the world \u2013 Europe, the USA, Russia and Australia. In 2009, they performed at the Cosmonova Planetarium within the Swedish Museum of Natural History, with their background consisting of nature photos from all parts of the world. After that, they sold out a few shows with the International Space Station, which led the audience on an impromptu tour of the Solar System.<\/p>\n

The rich music programme<\/a><\/strong> at the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, from 1 to 4 September will include more than 30 concerts at 3 music stages.<\/p>\n

In addition to the music programme, we can also expect numerous exhibitions, installations, film and theatre programmes, including dance performances and plays, conferences with workshops and panel programmes, etc., at the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture.<\/p>\n

In the European Capital of Culture<\/a><\/strong> title year, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will be held for the fifth time, from 1 September to 7 October. Throughout Novi Sad, almost 1,000 artists and experts in the fields of architecture, literature, visual, performing and applied arts from 67 countries will implement more than 250 events.<\/p>\n
