The \u2018Sketchbook\u2019 project by Marina MIlanovi\u0107<\/strong> includes four workshops<\/strong> in a row. The workshops will be implemented within the visual arts week, in the Egys\u00e9g Cultural Station<\/a><\/strong>, from 24 until 28 September.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first two workshops (on 24 and 25 September) will be implemented from 5 until 9 p.m., while the other two (on 27 and 28 September) will be held from 12 until 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

The workshops are intended for literature, applied and fine arts students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The programme is free of charge, while due to the limited number of people, it is necessary to apply via e-mail address: novaradnasveska@gmail.com<\/a>, until 20 September. The e-mail must contain three works (a sketch, poem, text, design or illustration) and a short biography.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants will have a chance to learn how to make an art book themselves, i.e., they will go through the complete art process \u2013 writing, illustrating and composition for publications. Every participant will have their own workbook at the end of the workshop.<\/p>\n

The workshops are led by Marina Milanovi\u0107, an illustrator and Vitomirka Trebovac, a poet.<\/p>\n

Marina Milanovi\u0107<\/strong> works in the field of drawing, illustration and graphic design, which she uses in her poetics and narration, children\u2019s illustrated book, different graphic materials and publications. She also holds workshops and lectures.<\/p>\n

She has held four exhibitions so far (Platna i vokovizuelna poezija, crte\u017ei i strip Sanitar, Krzno crne \u017eivotinje, Prozra\u010dnobelo) and has participated at several exhibitions.<\/p>\n

Since 2020, she has been engaged as a lecturer at the Department of Digital Arts of the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.<\/p>\n

Vitomirka Trebovac<\/strong>\u00a0has written three books of poetry: \u2018Blue in Colour\u2019, \u2018All the Trees, all the Children and all the Bicycles in Me\u2019 and \u2018Days of the Full Moon\u2019.<\/p>\n

She is the co-editor of the book of poetry \u2018This is Not a Home, Female Poets about Migration\u2019 and the editor of the book \u2018Novi Sad Neo-Avant-Garde \/ Selection from Poetry\u2019. She is engaged in the bookstore and publishing centre \u2018Bulevar Books\u2019 in Novi Sad.<\/p>\n

\n

The fourth\u00a0\u2018Kaleidoscope of Culture\u2019<\/a>\u00a0will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021.\u00a0<\/strong>During\u00a0five weeks<\/strong>, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various\u00a0processes<\/strong>, will present\u00a0five types of art<\/strong>. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present\u00a0spaces<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0programmes<\/strong>\u00a0throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
