The third edition of Design Pavilion<\/strong> will mark the fifth week of the Kaleidoscope of Culture in SPENS, one of the most important representatives of modern architecture in Novi Sad, from 1 until 8 October 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Design Pavilion will be opened with the exhibition \u2018Design for Culture\u2019, on Friday, 1 October at 20:22 p.m.<\/strong> (entrance no. 8). The exhibition, which has been implemented in cooperation with the European project ReCulture and PDP conference, will present the best European and regional practices in the field of culture. The exhibition includes over 200 items<\/strong>, including posters, publications and other graphic material produced for regional and European cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, festivals, artists and relevant cultural projects.<\/p>\n

Within the \u2018Design for Culture\u2019 exhibition, some of the most significant representatives of regional, European and world design scenes such as Pentagram<\/strong>, the biggest independent design studio in the world, Bureau Mirko Borsche<\/strong>, a graphic design studio in Germany, French Graphe\u0301ine<\/strong>, Portuguese And Atelier<\/strong>, British Cartidge Levene<\/strong>, Spanish Todojunto<\/strong>, Austrian Studio ES<\/strong>, as well as representatives of local design scene such as Slavimir Stojanovi\u0107 Futro, Marina Milanovi\u0107, Dragana Krtini\u0107<\/strong>, design studio Metaklinika<\/strong> and Petergregson<\/strong>, and many others will present their work.<\/p>\n

Among the projects selected to be part of the exhibition are projects implemented for the French Ministry of Culture, British Tate Modern, Bavarian State Opera, Design Museum in London, British Institute for Contemporary Art, Vienna Design Week, Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, Historical Museum in Sarajevo, Yugoslav Drama Theatre, National Museum of Montenegro and many other organisations that work in the field of culture.<\/p>\n

From 1 until 3 October, designers will have a chance to attend lectures about graphic design, interactive design<\/strong>, etc., within the PDP conference in SPENS. Constantin Demner<\/strong>, a graphic designer from Austria and founder of Studio Elastik, a visual communication studio, Wolfgang Fiel<\/strong>, an architect and stage designer from Austria, Uro\u0161 Kr\u010dedinac<\/strong>, a visual artist from Belgrade and Andrija Dinulovi\u0107<\/strong>, an architect and producer from Belgrade and co-founder of the production studio Turbina, will present themselves.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the audience will have a chance to hear Slavimir Stojanovi\u0107, a designer from Belgrade, representatives of the MUCEM Museum in Marseille and architect Wolfgang Fiel during the panel discussion \u2018Design for Culture\u2019<\/strong> that will be moderated by Nina Mihaljinac and Milan \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107 from the Department for Management and Production in Theatre, Radio and Culture, Faculty of Dramatic Arts.<\/p>\n

Within the PDP conference, the Belgrade collective Belgrade Raw will stage the exhibition \u2018Raw Perspectives\u2019<\/strong> by the authors Jelena Nikoli\u0107, Predrag \u0110ulinac and Stefan Jovanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the audience will have a chance to see the exhibition of 30 risographs<\/strong> selected within the PDP conference, entitles SHIFT. Authors of graphics are artists from Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Albania, Hungary, Sweden, Ukraine and Australia.<\/p>\n

The fourth\u00a0\u2018Kaleidoscope of Culture\u2019<\/a>\u00a0will be held from 2 September until 8 October 2021.\u00a0<\/strong>During\u00a0five weeks<\/strong>, this yearlong project of culture of togetherness that connects artists, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, citizens and visitors through various\u00a0processes<\/strong>, will present\u00a0five types of art<\/strong>. At the end of summer, the Kaleidoscope of Culture will present\u00a0spaces<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0programmes<\/strong>\u00a0throughout the city, promoting a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
