{"id":3153,"date":"2021-06-10T11:58:28","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T09:58:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/?p=3153"},"modified":"2021-06-16T12:02:08","modified_gmt":"2021-06-16T10:02:08","slug":"ars-electronica-opens-its-doors-to-artists-from-serbia-within-the-kaleidoscope-of-culture-pavilion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/en\/ars-electronica-opens-its-doors-to-artists-from-serbia-within-the-kaleidoscope-of-culture-pavilion\/","title":{"rendered":"Ars Electronica Opens Its Doors to Artists from Serbia Within the Kaleidoscope of Culture Pavilion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/novisad2021.rs\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Novi Sad &#8211; European Capital of Culture<\/a>\u2019 Foundation invites individuals and groups of artists, companies, faculties, and other institutions who work in the field of fine art media and contemporary artistic practices to apply to the public call for exhibiting at the Ars Electronica national pavilion, which will be implemented within the <a href=\"https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kaleidoscope of culture<\/a> in 2021. <strong>Deadline for submitting applications is 6 July 2021.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The winning entry should be of national importance in terms of presentation and building the capacity of Serbian artistic expression, while Ars Electronica institute, which is the most prestigious European institution for development and experiment in the field of transmedia art and new fine art media, gives credibility for the open call.<\/p>\n<p>The Ars Electronica pavilion will be located in the facility 11, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/%D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%BE%D0%BD+%D1%84%D0%B0%D0%B1%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B5+%E2%80%9E%D0%9F%D0%B5%D1%82%D0%B0%D1%80+%D0%94%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BF%D1%88%D0%B8%D0%BD%E2%80%9D\/@45.2372247,19.8412037,18z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x475b112b1bbfff73:0xccdd1421b3700f94!8m2!3d45.2370269!4d19.8420098?hl=sr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Creative District<\/a> in Veliki Liman. The entire building should be used and incorporated as the work of art. According to call propositions, the work has to be in the domain of new fine art media and contemporary artistic practices in terms of interactive installation, creative coding, digital art, video art and mapping, sculpture in the expanded field, augmented reality, virtual reality, generative art, animation, ephemeral architecture, transmedia art, mechatronics and other experimental artistic mediums.<\/p>\n<p>Participants are given the task to design and give solutions for exhibition at the national pavilion. Public procurement for the services of implementation of the selected solution will be launched. Submitted work consists of one solution per location, optional solutions are not allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Works are submitted via the <a href=\"https:\/\/jnportal.ujn.gov.rs\/tender-eo\/32322\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portal of public procurements<\/a> in accordance with detailed instructions for proper appointment of documents.
