Fourth week of the Kaleidoscope of Culture in Novi Sad takes us to the world of visual art and connects modern artistic expression by Novi Sad authors and rich artistic heritage and legacies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u2018From Sava to Sava \u2013 Private Collections by the Gallery of Matica Srpska<\/strong>\u2019 programme, which starts on 25 September and lasts until 27 September, will be the so-called kaleidoscope of artistic works that are part of the collection of the Gallery of Matica Srpska that will be interpreted in various different ways.<\/p>\n

The grand opening of the \u2018From Sava to Sava \u2013 Private Collections by the Gallery of Matica Srpska\u2019 programme will start with the exhibition by young animator Milica Ble\u0161i\u0107<\/strong> at 8.22 p.m. (20:22). She will interpret the collection of the Gallery of Matica Srpska with diverse animations.<\/p>\n

The importance of private collections for the Gallery, among which are the works of the Gift Collection of Sava Tekelija, Gift Collection of Milo\u0161 Bok\u0161an, Gift Collection of Sava Stepanov, will be presented on 25, 26 and 27 September, within interpretations by experts of the Gallery of Matica Srpska \u2013 Tijana Palkovljevi\u0107 Bugarski,<\/strong> PhD, manager of the Gallery of Matica Srpska, Sne\u017eana Mi\u0161i\u0107<\/strong>, PhD, and Mr Danilo Vuksanovi\u0107<\/strong>, programme directors of the Gallery of Matica Srpska. During two tours led by the curator, the audience will have a chance to inform themselves about the \u2018Music Intermezzo: Collection of Vinyls by Pavle Beljanski<\/strong>\u2019 exhibition.<\/p>\n

The \u2018My Collection\u2019 workshop for children aged 5 to 11 will be held in order to bring the story about the importance of benefactors and art collecting closer to the young ones. The workshop will be held on 26 September at 11 a.m. You can apply for the workshop by filling in the application on the following link<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Performances by Na\u0111a Vra\u010dari\u0107<\/strong> and Sebastian Schund<\/strong> (Filip \u0160\u0107eki\u0107), young DJs from Novi Sad, will contribute to the whole programme. Composer Na\u0111a will bring powerful groovy sounds on 25 September at 9.15 p.m., while Sebastian will trigger the combination of melodies from the Middle East, German synthwave and British old school house music on 27 September at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Two exhibitions, performance and lecture in the Svilara Cultural Station<\/h4>\n

Material value of a work of art \u2013 how to estimate the value of it and who does it? This is the question that will be discussed within the \u201875.000 \u2013 the Value of a Work of Art<\/strong>\u2019 project by the author Luka Kuli\u0107, sculptor and curator. The project will be implemented in the Svilara Cultural Station, on 29 September at 7.15 p.m. The author wants to reassess the value of a single work of art, which will be presented to the visitors on social media, and after that, the author will hold the performance-lecture related to this topic.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Autonomni Identiteti\u2019 (Eng. Autonomous Identities) exhibition by visual artist Izabela Ma\u0161i\u0107<\/strong> will be opened in the Svilara Cultural Station on 30 September at 6 p.m. The exhibition will present Izabela\u2019s works created in the period 2017 – 2020 that deal with sociological and global turmoil of events that shook both society and the author.<\/p>\n

New media artistic practice at the Art Body Art exhibition in the SULUV Gallery.<\/h4>\n

After the first exhibition of the Art Body Art<\/strong> project, the second exhibition of the project: Relation of Bodies (a body as a movement form), organised by the Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina, will be held in the Svilara Cultural Station on 28 September at 8 p.m. During the exhibition, nine artistic<\/p>\n

works in the field of new media artistic practice will be presented. The exhibition presents an introduction to the main activity of the project, international exhibition Art Body Art in year of the European Capital of Culture title.<\/p>\n

Film screenings premiere at the International Festival \u2018Seize the Film\u2019<\/h4>\n

Film screenings premiere of short films from the selection of the International Film Festival \u2018Seize the Film\u2019<\/strong> will take place in the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad, on 26 and 27 September at 6 p.m. Films are coming from different parts of the world, various genres and formats, films about love, relationships, sport, dance, as well as films that explore controversial topics such as violence, rejection and discrimination. Festival comprises two forums: \u2018Volunteers that Change Perspectives\u2019 and \u2018Festival that Changes Perspectives\u2019.<\/p>\n

During the week of visual art, \u2018\u0160ok Zadruga\u2019 will present their programme that includes solo exhibitions and other artistic and activist projects. The exhibition will include exhibition of works by Jovana Semiz in \u2018\u0160ok Centrala\u2019, which will last until 3 October, and the exhibition by Bojan Dojki\u0107, open for the public until 17 October in the \u2018Bulevar Books\u2019 bookstore.<\/p>\n

Organisers kindly ask all visitors to adhere to all preventive measures due to the current pandemic situation, in order to maintain health and enjoy cultural events. Visitors are obliged to wear masks during all events. The maximum number of visitors, which is 500 people in public spaces and indoors, is being monitored during events.<\/p>\n

Kaleidoscope of Culture has started on 4 September and lasts until 9 October.
