How does it look like when anyone can join the actors and become part of the interactive performance?<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>You can find answers to these questions in the \u2018Three Migrants in a Boat\u2019 theatre play, which will have its first performance, out of four, within the \u2018Kaleidoscope of Culture\u2019 in the Svilara Cultural Station on<strong> 29 August at 6 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The performance is envisaged as a fictional journey of three migrants and smugglers on a rubber boat sailing the Evros River, and the dialogues are based on the popular comic novel \u2018Three Men in a Boat\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The audience will be actively involved in the performance since a group visitors (up to nine persons), equipped with night vision devices will take the roles of custom officers and seamlessly stroll through the space and watch the play, while the stage becomes a large panoramic video projection of the river bank.<br \/>\nThe rest of the audience, while waiting to become a part of the performance, will watch the news, arrests, political speeches on several TV screens.<\/p>\n<p>The performance deals with one of the biggest problems in the world \u2013 migration, fears of people who are forced to leave their home, their real stories, experiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The \u2018Three Migrants in a Boat\u2019 will be performed during the whole weekend,<\/strong> and the performances are scheduled for 30 and 31 August, as well as 1 September at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The performance is the work of <strong>Petko Durmana<\/strong>, and it is implemented by the Centre for Cultural Decontamination in Belgrade and the \u2018Novi Sad 2021 \u2013 European Capital of Culture\u2019 within this year\u2019s \u2018Kaleidoscope of Culture\u2019 .<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Kaleidoscope of Culture\u2019 is the programme arch within the \u2018Novi Sad 2021 \u2013 European Capital of Culture\u2019 project and it is being held for the second time. Novi Sad becomes the \u2018city of scene\u2019 on more than 80 locations from 24 August until 30 September through the culture of communion and the \u2018Kaleidoscope of Culture\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>It connects spaces and programmes, as well as the actors themselves: the \u2018Kaleidsocope\u2019 presents a unique image of the diversity of Novi Sad through multiple arts, with its cultural institutions, non-institutional scene, artists and citizens themselves. With more than 400 programmes, everyone will have a chance to design their own kaleidoscope of culture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How does it look like when the audience become a part of the performance?
