His works were awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale as well as the Gothenburg Sustainability Award. One of the most famous architects in the world, Alejandro Aravena, is coming to Novi Sad during the Kaleidoscope of Culture Architecture Week, when he will hold an <strong>expert lecture at the Barka Cultural Station<\/strong> on <strong>3 October<\/strong> for which the seats were filled in record time.<\/p>\n<p>That is why, <strong>due to the great interest<\/strong>, the \u2018Novi Sad \u2013 European Capital of Culture\u2019 Foundation has scheduled <strong>another date<\/strong>, on <strong>Thursday, 5 October, at 7 p.m. in the District<\/strong>, so that all those interested will have the opportunity to attend the famous architect&#8217;s lecture.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdEbunFvnN7uU3dYWe1tI_SVm6AnYGVVZiZ2WP-6X2yvazmew\/viewform\"><strong>Apply here.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>A Walk through the History of Kitchens<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As part of the Architecture Week, the seventh exhibition will be opened in the District, which is part of this year&#8217;s sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture, and which will show, from a very interesting and well-known perspective, how architecture is in an unbreakable connection with social, economic, and other aspects of a society.<\/p>\n<p>From the Middle Ages, until today, kitchens depicted the context of every society and changing trends, efficiency of economy&#8230; therefore the exhibition<strong> \u2018Kitchens [Fragments] \u2013 Sketches from History and Popular Culture\u2019<\/strong>, implemented by the Society of Architects of Vojvodina, brings an unusual approach and an interesting exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will open at the <strong>Menza facility in the District on 7 October<\/strong> and will run <strong>until 28 October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9984\" src=\"https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/.-37-scaled-e1695631038952.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"662\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/.-37-scaled-e1695631038952.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/.-37-scaled-e1695631038952-300x166.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/.-37-scaled-e1695631038952-1024x565.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kaleidoskopkulture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/.-37-scaled-e1695631038952-768x424.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the exhibition, <strong>guided tours through the residential buildings of Liman<\/strong> will be organized, which will be led by <strong>Academician Branislav Mitrovi\u0107, Vladimir Kubet, PhD, Ivan Stanojev and Ilija Gubi\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Experts on the Future Modernity of the City<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>What should the future modernity of the city look like? The answer will be offered by architects, experts in the field of digital technologies, sociologists and other panelists, with the aim of synthesizing innovative and interdisciplinary studies of urban development.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>expert panel \u2018Future Modernity\u2019 <\/strong>will be held at the <strong>Opens Cultural Station on 6 October at 7 p.m<\/strong>., as part of the Architecture Week of the sixth Kaleidoscope of Culture in Novi Sad.
